Description
Renovated to a good standard, with a fantastic oak finish used throughout. A lovely sitting room with large bay window frames that magnificent view and is a great place to sit and relax, and once you’ve watched the sun set down into the sea, the open fire offers a warming glow and relaxing atmosphere. The adjoining dining room is just perfect for a family get together and the kitchen is fully fitted with plenty of cupboards and space, with all the facilities you’d expect to have to cater for all your needs. There are four bedrooms in total, two double bedrooms on the first floor including what would probably be described as the master bedroom with a sofa, king-size bed and wonderful sea views, and a further two bedrooms on the second floor, a king-size and a twin. There are two designer bathrooms on each of the upper floors, one of which is rather lavish and has a double ended roll-top bath, separate double shower, marble flooring with underfloor heating and exposed stone walls, the other with a large shower cubicle and the best view of the house! The area around this Harlech cottage offers many activities, with Harlech's magnificent sandy beach and the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club just down the hill, the CADW Medieval Castle just up the hill and the mountains of Snowdonia an easy drive away. A lovely, central location, with stunning views makes this a fabulous place to return to after a day out and about, relax with family and friends all year round.
The town of Harlech in the Snowdonia National Park offers a castle, golf course, a beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Also Cardigan Bay and the towns of Barmouth and Porthmadog are close by for a day by the sea. You can also venture the National Park for a myriad of walking, cycling, wildlife spotting and birdwatching.
