Enjoy a good book in this neat, enclosed suntrap garden at the back of the cottage or enjoy the fresh aroma of herbs in the owner’ kitchen garden leading to a little wood, which you’re welcome to wander. Enjoy a tasty meal in Edmonton’s excellent good food pub, just a pleasant stroll away after fun and games on the famous camel Trail, likewise within a few minutes’ walk. Sort out all your holiday provisions in the lively market town of Wadebridge, which boasts plenty of good shops, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre. There’s more fine dining in the seaside town of Padstow but if you simply want to have fun on the beach, then head for the splendid Trevose peninsula beaches. Figtree Cottage is a really peaceful family retreat and a great spot for cyclists/walkers/surfers with easy access to Padstow via the Camel Trail.
