The Coach House is one of two adjacent cottages enjoying an elevated position from the village of Minchinhampton which offers stunning views of quintessential Cotswold valleys and is blessed with some award winning cafes and restaurants, a local butcher, organic dairy and farm shop.
Minchinhampton is a picturesque Cotswolds village, surrounded by a common where cows graze during the summer months. The cows even wander into the village. There are superb views of the Stroud valley from the common itself, and lots of walks to country pubs and more.
The Coach House is a listed Cotswold stone building, part of a stables that has been fully refurbished, set in its own private and secluded grounds yet in the middle of the village. You arrive at the property via electric gates, which open up onto a covered, Cotswold stone cart shed. Walk through the archway and a stable door opens onto a fully fitted kitchen and dining room, with chairs for six, as well as a window seat – the perfect place to relax with a book or a glass of something.
With modern features such as a 55” wall-mounted Smart television; under-floor heating in the ground floor rooms; a romantic roll-top bath and a large walk-in shower, the property has everything you need to relax in style. There are lovely views across the private garden and to the valley beyond from the day room on the first floor. Outside the Coach House is a large, covered dining table with benches, shared with The Stables next door, where you can enjoy al fresco dining.
Enjoying an elevated position, Minchinhampton offers stunning views of quintessential Cotswolds valleys and is blessed with some award winning cafes and restaurants, a local butcher, organic dairy and farm shop. A highlight in the village, and just a short walk away, is The Crown Inn, an 18th century pub renovated in 2019 to create the perfect Cotswold country pub. A weekly country market attests to the importance of local produce and the surrounding countryside provides numerous walking routes.
