A charming brick and flint period cottage set in large gardens and enjoying a peaceful location in the unspoilt village of Stanhoe. A short walk to an award-winning gastro pub and ten minute drive to the coast, this stylish cottage ticks lots of boxes.
Dating from the Georgian era, Cherry Tree Cottage is full of character both inside and out. With beamed ceilings and walls to most rooms, the clever use of retro-style furniture, interesting artworks and funky lighting certainly sets this interesting little cottage apart from the coastal norm. Cosy and comfortable, the accommodation is set over two floors. On the ground floor there is a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, an adjoining dining room that connects to the kitchen and a snug that can be used as a quiet work space or reading room. A well-equipped galley style kitchen with utility area overlooks, and has access to the rear garden. A downstairs shower room completes the scene. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (king-size, double and twin) and a family bathroom. The cottage is blessed with gardens to front and rear. The secluded rear garden overlooks beautiful meadowland - If you don’t feel like straying too far, you can make full use of the barbecue or simply take a seat and enjoy getting lost in a good book.
Cherry Tree Cottage is a romantic retreat for a couple or two, and equally suitable for friends and families. And don't forget your four-legged friend - they will love the many local and coastal walks too!
