Lavender Cottage is one of six luxury barn conversions set within the grounds of Gonwin Manor on the outskirts of of St Ives and Carbis Bay. With its close proximity to Porthkidney beach and the Lelant Links golf course, there is something for everyone in this peaceful location.
Through the pretty enclosed garden you will find the entrance to Lavender Cottage. This well-appointed cottage is a single-storey, open-plan, contemporary accommodation with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a wood burning stove. The bespoke shaker kitchen, is well equipped to prepare a romantic meal for two, perhaps with produce bought at one of the numerous farmers markets in the area. Two steps lead down to the double bedroom which has a king-size bed with soft feather bedding, luxury linens and a wall mounted television. The en-suite bathroom has a bath tub for you to enjoy a soak before drifting off to a good nights sleep.
The setting of Gonwin Manor is stunning. It has its own private lake where there are breath-taking views to the beach and beyond. The pontoon is a wonderful place to end the day with a glass of wine and watch sun go down before you head back to your cottage for Supper. Guests will be able to dine al fresco or perhaps enjoy a barbecue or two in the pretty garden.
Lavender Cottage is a perfect for a romantic escape to the Cornish coast near St Ives.
