Squirrel Cottage is the ideal destination for a romantic couple's getaway to the Cotswolds. This delightful three-storey cottage is situated in the centre of Tetbury, a historic wool town, lovingly referred to as the southern gateway to the Cotswolds.
The honey-coloured stone cottage is a classic example of Tetbury’s quintessential market town architecture. The cottage is set over three floors with a lovely, ground floor open-plan kitchen and dining area. Head up the spiral staircase to the stylishly furnished sitting room with wooden flooring and an electric stove effect fire. Ascending the second spiral staircase reveals the elegant top floor bedroom with 5' king-size four poster bed and en-suite shower room.
To the rear of the cottage is a walled, southwest-facing courtyard with quality garden furniture, the perfect spot for morning coffee or winding down in the evenings as the sun sets.
The cottage is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Tetbury’s main thoroughfare. Tetbury is home to the largest collection of antique shops in the UK along with many excellent places to eat, as well as a fantastic delicatessen where you can stock up on local Cotswolds produce.
