Heathcot, dating back to the 1850's, has been a farm, bakery, butcher and Youth Hostel in its time and is now a beautiful bolthole, ideal for families with older children and groups of friends. A perfect place to stay all year round, it's spacious and stylish, situated only two miles from Holt, a pretty Georgian market town bustling with charm and character, independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, and only three miles inland from North Norfolk's stunning heritage coast.

This beautiful traditional brick and flint home has been extensively modernised with top quality fixtures, fittings and furnishings, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and beautiful bathrooms. A well-equipped kitchen with two ovens - one a duel fuel Rangemaster - and a Nespresso coffee machine opens out into a large open-plan dining room. A gorgeous sunny sitting room, with wood burning stove, spills onto the entertainment terrace and into an enclosed garden - ideal to keep children and your four-legged friends safe - and is a short hop over to the games room and office, complete with sofa, Smart TV, pool and table tennis tables, air hockey and desk with home working space for two. The first floor has four bedrooms: the master with a zip and link king-size bed and en-suite shower room, a further king-size bedroom and two 3' single rooms plus a family bathroom with bath and shower over.

This sophisticated sanctuary is an ideal base for exploring all that Norfolk has to offer. Holt railway station is only ten minutes' walk where you can take a ride on the Poppyline steam train to Weybourne and Sheringham, or connect up with the train to the cosmopolitan City of Norwich. With two bicycles available for your use (and plenty of room to store your own!) you'll be able to nip into Holt for a spot of shopping or explore Holt's own 100-acre Country Park and nearby Kelling Heath, with its pretty woodland trails.
