Set in the West End of the un-spoilt popular village of Ampleforth, Beadale Cottage is the ideal location to relax and unwind with family and friends, whilst exploring the North York Moors. The light and airy cottage comfortably accommodates up to five guests, boasting plenty of space with two reception rooms; a sitting room and a separate snug. In addition there is an inner lobby reading area, ideal for some quiet time or a family board game. The spacious dining kitchen is very well-equipped and exceptionally bright with doors leading out from the dining area to the garden patio. Off the kitchen you will find a useful utility room and storage space for muddy boots after a day out exploring the moors. The staircase from the hallway leads up to the three welcoming bedrooms and a family shower room. The master bedroom has the added benefit of an en-suite bathroom.
Outside you can enjoy dining al-fresco with a barbecue on the patio, which has garden furniture and seating for six guests. Steps lead up through a sloping lawned area and allow guests to explore the extensive winding garden, which has a seated 'bus stop' area for you to sit and take in the panoramic views of the Howardian Hills.
Situated just a short drive from Sutton Bank (locally known to be James Herriot, the famous vet's favourite view), where you can enjoy more breath-taking, extensive views of the Yorkshire Dales. Beadale Cottage is the perfect base to explore all that Yorkshire has to offer.
The bedding is non-feather.
One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please restrict your dog inside the property to the kitchen and utility room only.
10 steep steps lead to the large sloped garden.
The terrain is uneven and there are some holes from the wildlife in the garden. The descent down from the garden is also steep.
Not suitable for children aged one to five years. Babies aged 12 months and under are welcome, please bring your own cot, bedding, highchairs and stairgate if required.
Please be aware there is a steep slope up to the parking bay next to the house, so we do recommend low suspension cars should please park on West End road, opposite the front of the property.
