Ivy Cottage is a spacious, traditional carrstone property located on the high street within walking distance of the village pub and all the amenities that Docking has to offer. The interiors are modern, fresh and comfortable, with lots of little extras to make a great getaway at any time of year.
Built in 1776, this Georgian cottage has many original period features and benefits from a modern twist. The spacious well-equipped kitchen has a Nespresso coffee machine so you can spoil yourself. In the sitting room there's a cosy open fire, and Smart television with Freeview, BBC iPlayer, Netlflix, and Amazon Prime. Upstairs the three bedrooms (two king-size and two 2' 6 singles, the latter of which can be made up as a king-size bed on request) are thoughtfully furnished. The master bedroom has a large decked south facing sun terrace. Outside there is private off road car parking for one car and two enclosed furnished courtyards, which is ideal for small children and your furry friends.
Docking is a pretty village with excellent local amenities, and makes for a great base for those of you who would like to get out and about exploring coastal and rural Norfolk. You're not far from fabulous beaches (Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea), nature reserves (RSPB Titchewell, Snettisham and NWT Holme Dunes) and country houses (both Sandringham Estate and Houghton Hall). Enjoy miles of lovely quiet walks including on Peddar's Way and North Norfolk Coastal path. If you are a foodie and eating out is your favourite thing, you are truly spoilt for choice with so many quality restaurants and delis, both on the coast and inland too, including the award-winning Duck Inn at Stanhoe just a short four minute drive away.
