A family-friendly cottage set within ten acres of beautiful landscaped gardens benefiting from on-site spa facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. Set on the edge of the forest, with the coast at Dunwich a short drive, bike or walk away.
All ground floor accommodation, Chestnut Cottage combines a large open-plan living space and a fully-equipped kitchen with two generously sized bedrooms. The cottage is accessed via the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is a restaurant on-site so it could be tempting to dine out each evening but with so much wonderful fresh produce available to purchase locally, cooking up a scrumptious meal or two is definitely recommended. The open-plan sitting and dining room features a cosy corner sofa, ideal for a chilled evening in front of the television, and a dining area for up to six guests. There are various pieces of artwork throughout the property which have been collected on the owner's travels in South Africa. The property boasts two well-appointed bedrooms, a master bedroom with 4'6 double bed and a further bedroom with three 3' single beds, ideal for multi-generational guests. Both bedrooms share the contemporary shower room with large shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
Outside, guests are invited to enjoy the communal pretty gardens of Potton Hall including a beautiful pond and some intriguing sculptures, so why not enjoy a stroll in the light of a beautiful Suffolk sunset. Guests are also most welcome to use the hammocks, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. For a small additional charge, guests can enjoy the saunas and steam room. Potton Hall Spa offers a number of spa treatments so please let the bookings team know if you are interested in making use of the spa facilities during your stay.
Chestnut Cottage at Potton Hall sits on the outskirts of Westleton village which has a post office, village tea room and two highly reputable pubs. Being on the edge of the forest, there are miles of woodland and heathland walks without having to go on the roads. You can walk to the beach in less than an hour.
