On entering White Rose Cottage, you will be greeted with a warm welcome. The combination of the wood burning stove together with the Lucy Pittaway artwork displayed through the cottage, makes for a perfect retreat in all seasons. The light and welcoming sitting room, featuring exposed beams, is complemented by a three-seater sofa and two comfortable armchairs, a Smart television with Netflix and DVD player, Sonos speakers providing music and radio; all you need to spend a relaxing evening in front of the fire after a busy excursion in the beautiful Dales. Also situated on the ground floor is the modern shower room with a large walk-in shower. A contemporary and well-equipped kitchen provides a dining area for two, pretty Sophie Allport blinds, and the added luxury of a Tassimo coffee machine. Here you can cook to your hearts content and take full advantage of a mid-summer evening with alfresco dining in the delightful courtyard area, home to comfortable rattan garden dining furniture and a gas barbecue. As you make your way upstairs from the sitting room, you will be welcomed by a spacious bedroom with a super-king size bed (can be configured as twin 3' single beds on request), a Smart television with Netflix and a DVD player and a dressing table, filled with light from two windows framing the lovely views overlooking the local farmland.
Take full advantage of the cottage’s splendid outside area; the pretty, sun-trap courtyard and the lawned area, which boasts decadent rattan sun loungers to lie back and relax on, whilst delving into your favourite book.
When you want to eat out, just a short walk away from White Rose Cottage is the renowned Wyvill Arms, serving homemade local cuisine.
