When describing this superb barn, the superlatives just keep on coming - luxurious, spacious, stylish without being precious and oh so very comfortable. With four beautiful en-suite bedrooms to tempt you, and loads of living space for everyone to spread out, The Hayloft is the ultimate get away destination for couples, friends and families searching for a tranquil spot within easy reach of some stunning beaches, pretty as a picture seaside towns and grand country houses.
Converted in 2020, this former hayloft retains its brick and flint exterior, now highlighted with cedar weather boarding. The character continues on the inside with beams, vaulted ceilings and an occasional exposed flint feature wall. Otherwise, it is slap bang up-to-date with all the expected conveniences of modern living. As you enter the front door you arrive into a welcoming entrance hall/boot room. Just the place to cast off outerwear, wet gear and change into soft soles. The next door sociable open-plan living space is magnificent and flooded with light pouring in from full length doors on either side and combines a top of the range kitchen with adjacent dining area and a snugly seating area at the far end of the room, where sofas and armchairs sit around one of the three televisions in the barn, that all have the benefit of Sky. The main sitting room is another joyfully sublime relaxing area with a large L-shaped sink-into sofa, views of the gardens to both sides through full length doors, a wood burning stove to light and ramp up the cosy factor while catching up on your day or with a favourite series on Sky, A handy cloakroom and next door utility room off the entrance hall complete the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor are four beautifully presented bedrooms that run along the top floor of the barn, starting first with a large master suite, with super-king bed, separate dressing room and en-suite bathroom, and continuing down the hallway with a double, twin and lastly with a king-size bedroom at the other end. Again, all with their own very smart en-suite bathrooms.
Outside the barn, the large east/west facing garden, principally laid to lawn, runs from the front to the back where it overlooks adjoining fields and has a patio area with garden furniture and gas barbecue sitting alongside the barn. A double carport and driveway easily accommodates up to six cars. The Hayloft sits in a small hamlet of converted barns on the edge of the pretty village of Felbrigg, with the National Trust's Felbrigg Hall just up the road and the charming coastal town of Cromer a mere ten minute drive away.
