Skipsea Lodge is a delightful lodge situated in the heart of the Skipsea Sands Holiday Park, right on the coastline and less than a few minutes' walk to the beach. Internally, the property boasts a wonderfully modern open-plan living space, with a large sofa and two armchairs to relax and unwind in after a long day sightseeing, while catching up on your favourite shows. The dining area has seating for six and makes for a wonderful social space for family gatherings over a meal and a glass of something chilled. The compact kitchen area is amply-equipped with a range of appliances, perfect for cooking delicious dinners for the whole family. With all the rooms being on the ground floor, you will have easy access to the two brightly-decorated bedrooms, one king-size with an en-suite shower room and one twin. Each bedroom has ample storage space as both bedroom have large walk-in wardrobes, with high-quality furnishings. The family bathroom offers a large bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day. The lodge boasts a delightful wrap-around decking area, where you can sit out on the provided furniture with a refreshing beverage and enjoy the stunning countryside views. Off-road parking is available for four cars. You are ideally placed for exploring all this holiday park has to offer, including its on-site facilities such as the indoor heated swimming pool, with a steam room and sauna. Your little ones will delight in the children's adventure playground which will keep them entertained for hours. The holiday park offers an on-site pub and restaurant for some fine food, with the coastline just a few minutes' walk away. Take advantage of this location and explore the expansive sandy beach with the whole family - enjoy the day with your kids building sandcastles, swimming in the waters or playing a variety of beach games. Skipsea itself boasts the wonderful Skipsea Castle, which was a Norman motte and bailey castle dating back to around 10086, showcasing a wealth of historical architecture. The nearby lake of Hornsea Mere offers the space for those interested in boating, birdwatching, and fishing. The village of Skipsea is situated in the Yorkshire Wolds, in a typically rural setting surrounded by rich, agricultural land, yet Skipsea also sits within one mile of the beach and is close to the cliffs of the North Sea. The village has its own Post Office and general store, a hairdresser’s and a pub. Many of the houses in the village, both old and new, use cobbles from the sea shore in the building. Just outside the village are the remains of Skipsea Castle. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and cycling, whilst the nearby seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey boast long sandy beaches and numerous resort attractions. The Deep Submarium at Hull, Sledmere House and Burton Constable Hall are within 20 miles, whilst the shops, cathedral and museum of historic York, the resort town of Scarborough and the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway at Pickering are within an hour’s drive, and Whitby is just a little further, making Skipsea a superb base for a relaxing holiday.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
