Sleights is a village in North Yorkshire, England. situated in the Scarborough district and the Esk Valley. The village offers a local SPAR, Post Office, butchers, two pubs, restaurants and a tearoom for all your amenities. Situated a few miles drive from the bustling coastal town of Whitby, with access to wonderful sandy beaches and historical sites such as Whitby Abbey.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Stayed in this idyllic little cottage for a week and loved it. It is the perfect location to visit surrounding areas. The cottage is spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could think of. The owners are only a phone call away if needed and were very helpful and welcoming. We explored the area and found some beautiful walks and villages and also managed to leave the car behind as there was a bus stop just down the road that takes you into Whitby. We got talking to some locals who were very friendly and telling us the history of the place. Would definitely stay there again and thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. The only thing is when I booked I didn’t realise there was no WiFi ( my fault I didn’t read the advert properly) though to be honest it wasn’t really a problem. Would happily return.
