Reviews

We had a week here and the property has been beautifully restored and converted by the owners who were extremely helpful and concerned that we should have a good stay, even including a nice welcome pack. The balcony with hot tub overlooking the railway line was lovely, as was the shower over the well. I thought I'd be afraid to use that but I was fine. We were lucky with the weather but that did make upstairs very hot, despite the fans, curtains and blinds. Luckily, the downstairs bedroom is very cool. The only downside was that we did have a noise issue with other residents but this was swiftly sorted out by the owners. Being at a train station was very useful for getting around as you can access many places from there. We even took the train to Ledbury one night, had a meal and then came back again. It was lovely and I would recommend it. We would go again.

We spent an absolutely marvellous 3 days in the sleepers suite. The place is immaculately done out but the little extras give it the WOW factor, from the rainfall shower built over a well to the sunken hot tub on the balcony this place is amazing !! Do not miss out on booking it if it’s ever available definitely 10 out of 10 !!!!!

We have just returned from a midweek break staying at the Sleeper's Suite at the Station House in Malvern Link. I happened to come across this by chance and was really impressed by the online pictures. Safe to say that it definitely stood up to the expectation in real life. Formerly the Station Master's House, the accommodation has been lovingly restored, extended and refurbished by the owners, Lee and Chloe, to provide three separate holiday lets - although the central one is not yet available. Sleeper's Suite is a one bedroom reverse plan rental, and Platform Three at the other end of the property, is a two bed. The accommodation opens into a luxurious ground floor bedroom, decorated with lots of grey, purple, glitter and sparkles, and with some impressive lighting. Features include old fashioned industrial type radiators, trunking and switches, his and hers wash basins, toilet and a shower built over the top of a well. The bed is comfy, if a little soft for our liking but very warm and cosy. Upstairs you have a large living space with high specification kitchen, more fabulous lighting and lots of glitter and a balcony overlooking the platform at Malvern Link station, with a sunk in hot tub. Basic essentials are provided in the kitchen in the form of tea, coffee, sugar and some milk on our arrival. The station is a working station with trains running up till about 11 pm and re-starting again around 6, but this was not a problem for us - none of the trains blew any whistles while we were there and you got used to hearing them pull in...it's not a particularly busy station and you do have to park in the station car park, but as it's only £1 a day, it's not expensive and we didn't have any trouble parking at all during our 4 day stay. A weekly ticket for the car park was £4.20. Malvern Link is a short distance from the town of Great Malvern and at the foot of the Malvern Hills. There are some good local pubs nearby and there is an informative pack in the rental with plenty of leaflets in. It also tells the story of how Chloe and Lee have created this wonderful holiday home. We would recommend the Nag's Head and the Swan at Newland nearby, and would also recommend booking for dinner.
