The sumptuous double bed is ideal for a couple. Prepare for the day in the shower room with modern fixtures and fittings. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the decking or settle back and unwind in the hot tub – what better way to wash away the aches and pains after a day exploring the beautiful countryside this area has to offer. Take a stroll to the charming village pub, owned by the National Trust which hosts many events throughout the year. A short drive takes you to many lovely Cotswold villages, numerous National Trust properties as well as Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick and the gorgeous Vale of Evesham. Hydrangea makes for a wonderful base to return to of an evening.

Spent a lovely week here in this lodge would definitely recommend. It is not the most spacious and it would be very difficult to cook and eat a proper meal but we ate out anyway so not an issue for us. Hot tub was great and the host very friendly and helpful. Good location and tucked away.
We booked via Sykes for a half term break... Being away from others given COVID but also with a private hot tub for a relaxing break. David and Netty were fabulous hosts: on hand if help was needed or just a general chit chat of the area but also respecting our privacy. The "hut" is cosy and snug, warm and welcoming. We managed to cook a decent Slimming World friendly "fry up" each day but also frequented local establishments. We HIGHLY recommend the local pub, The Fleece Inn, which is a stones throw, an aged building managed by the National Trust and one that does fantastic grub! Well located for typical Cotswolds sites such as visiting Brum, going to Broadway, the steam train for Gloucester and Warwickshire, and Stratford-upon-Avon to name a few, and well priced for the area. Would definitely recommend and revisit!
Lovely place to stay for a romantic couple trip. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday, drank champagne in the hot tub while enjoying the beautiful countryside view! Today our hosts cooked some amazing authentic Thai food for us! It was really kind of them ! I would love to come back here again!
