3 Dolphin Court is a delightful ground floor apartment situated in Brixham, within touching distance of the harbour. Offering a wealth of character and an abundance of things to do, this wonderful apartment promises a splendid retreat to Devon. As you walk through the front door you are welcomed into a small porch area, where you can kick off your boots and coats, before lounging around in the open-plan living space. The lounge offers a large sofa, with a chaise seat on one end, perfect for curling up with your loved ones while you catch up with your favourite shows of an evening. The dining area seats four and is the perfect for family gathering over a delicious home-cooked meal. The kitchen has all the equipment you could need for a weekend at the coast, with appliances on-hand to help. As the day draws to a close, retire to one of the two well-presented bedrooms: one double and one twin, benefitting from a family shower room. Spend a moment or two outside, with a small patio area and a bench. Off-road parking is available for one car. Brixham hosts a number of festivals each year, including the family-friendly BrixFest during the last week of May, the Brixham Pirate Festival during the first week of May, and the seafood and music festival of Fishstock Brixham in mid-September. Brixham is ideally situated for exploring Berry Head, a nature reserve with trail for walking and cycling, with a lighthouse and visitor centre. The harbour also offers opportunities for fishing and boating. For a taste of culture visit Brixham Heritage Museum, offering museum talks, quiz nights and a wealth of history inside. Great location. Easy walking distance to Brixham. Great views from outside the property. Property is a bit small for 4 adults.
We just spent the most amazing long weekend at 3 Dolphin Court. All you need for a relaxing break. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, well presented and in a great location. The Harbour is within view of the Lounge Window and only a short walk away (3 minutes to the Quay at the bottom of the road). The Hosts, Jim and Caroline, have the place well decorated with some lovely personal touches that made the place feel like a Home from Home for our stay. Excellent! We will definitely return.
Our second visit here and we enjoyed our time equally as much. The owners have made some changes such as new sofa and TV and a few other finishing touches. The Apartment is well equipped, ideal for a couple of family (younger children). It is also quiet and is an excellent base for exploring; we took walks from the Apartment along the Coast path in both directions for some lovely coves and beaches. It is literally a 1 minute walk to the harbour which has lots to offer, by way of pubs and restaurants. It is also worth exploring the back streets behind the apartment and the harbour. The apartment contains a folder full of things to do and take away menus. We tried the chinese and was very tasty. A lovely stay.
We stayed here for a week in October and were hugely impressed at the facilities and value for Money. Brixham is a premium location where holiday lettings can be very expensive, this is a treasure. The apartment is in a block, literally less than 2 minutes to one end of the harbour. What stands out about the apartment is the love and care that the owners have put into it; the extra little touches that make you feel that you are a guest in a friends house, rather than just another renter. Little pictures and trinkets have created a seashore theme with local products and create and ambience that makes the apartment modern and cosy - it was a home from home for a week, there were 2 of us but there was space for a family of 2 adults and 2 children or 2 couples (one room had twin beds). The heating is excellent, the fridge spacious and we used the cooker and equipment. On top of all that you have the fabulous location, you can walk into nearby pubs and restaurants with ease or bring a still hot take away home. We had a lovely stay, would thoroughly recommend.
We have stayed at this apartment twice and we just Love it! It has everything you need, the decor is just perfect for a seaside apartment, you even get a car parking space. It’s with in a 5 minute walk to the harbour where there are lovely restaurants, bars and cafes. Definitely recommend this place!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Spent a lovely few days in Brixham using this gorgeous flat as a base. It had every amenity you could want for a stay here. The flat is so conveniently placed to explore the bustling port and surrounding area, with the added bonus of a car park space. Tastefully decorated with a seaside theme, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Thank you to the owners for making this special weekend extra special.
Spent a lovely couple of nights at the beginning of the month at this beautiful flat just a couple of minutes walk away from the amenities in Brixham. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cosy. Everything you need for a break away. Parking space too! Cant wait to go back!!
Just spent the weekend in Brixham for hubbys birthday was blown away by Brixham what a beautiful place with lots of lovely restaurants and bars also the harbour is lovely and only a 2 minute walk from 3 dolphin court which is gorgeous we loved our stay here it was a modern apartment very clean and everything you could need including WiFi and some games it was also very homely I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it also had a parking spot which is a huge bonus as there is very limited parking places in Brixham
