Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
The location is absolutely fabulous for exploring |North Wales. Its looks great from the outside BUT after that reality sets in. The place was damp and had too many cobwebs. The TV had only 2 working channels for evening entertainment, The Wi-Fi was hard to use with NO helpful instructions forthcoming from the owners. The grill was hard to use with NO instructions. The tumble drier failed three days in due to lack of maintenance (we eventually found the water condenser was full and emptied it ourselves). The bedding was down feathers which was useless for my wife's allergy and so we had to go out and buy pillows and duvet from Tesco's at Bangor. The bath, like the shower, was slippery and (in my opinion) dangerous and we had to buy bath mats for our own safety. The upstairs bedroom had three windows but no curtains, not conducive to a good nights rest. The table was too tall for the chairs which made eating at it uncomfortable. All in all, compared to other places we have stayed at, this was a great disappointment and just not value for money. Needed a better welcome and better information. Caveat emptor!!
Stayed here with my daughter and family for a week. A great place to stay and explore the area. We visited a different beach every day. The owners are lovely and live just behind the property. We were there when the weather was hot. The upstairs room was very hot and we were told not to leave the Velux windows open at night because of the bats. The bedding and towels were top quality but be aware the duvets are feather just incase anyone is allergic. Couldn't have asked for a better week and will be definitely returning.
