Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Ample parking, great WiFi, large garden area, huge living room with plenty of seating. I booked this property as a family holiday for my 50th birthday. It easily accommodated 6 Adults, the bedrooms were really spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Such a peaceful location with some lovely places to eat within a short drive away and a lovely local pub, The Red Lion, within walking distance, just less than a mile away. The food there was amazing. The whole house was spacious and clean and the hot tub was fantastic. So lovely and peaceful to sit in on an evening and had lights in it so you could relax as the sun went down. We visited lots of local attractions whilst there – Chatsworth House, Pooles caverns in Buxton, Warwick Castle, City caves in Nottingham, Ashbourne and Swadlincote snowsports Centre. Thank you to Gill and Liz who were extremely helpful throughout and were very thoughtful in baking a cake for us when we arrived.
This is the perfect place for some alone time with friends/ family, lots of space and garden areas very well maintained. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean and everything in working order. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we choose this cottage and we used it every day! Can't wait to return 5*****
