This is our second time staying at Nantrisack Cottages and I will continue to recommend this wonderful place! Maureen and Lyn kindly looked after our dog for the day whilst we attended a wedding after meeting him the year before and we are so grateful to them for this. The fields that back onto the cottages are perfect for anyone looking to take their pooches with them on holiday. Maureen always thinks of every fine detail and leaves everything you could think of (or forget to pack) in the cottage for you. The cottages themselves are spacious, immaculate and very well presented. Such a tranquil, relaxing retreat. I was pregnant the first time we visited and it was so lovely coming back a year later with our daughter to share the experience with her too, Maureen had kindly supplied us with a highchair, cot and sit up chair for our daughter too! Every little helps when you pack the kitchen sink with a little one! Thank you so much for your hospitality once again x

Myself, my husband and our 2 little fur babies are just on our way home from another amazing stay in Be Our Guest...this was our 4th visit and honestly, we just don't ever want to come home. A little slice of cornish heaven is what Mo and John always deliver. The cottage is exceptional in its cleanliness, its decor, the special little touches and is really the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The hot tub sits within a peaceful garden, birdsong is all you hear as you unwind and relax...it's just perfect...we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again Mo and John for being so lovely, see you next year.

We have just returned from our second visit, it truly is the most tranquil place with just the noise of the pretty birdsong in the background. The cottage was lovely and clean on our arrival with our complimentary pasties waiting for us. the hot tub was amazing again too. Maureen and John are wonderful hosts to this little touch of hidden heaven. Will be returning again next year. Than you X

We have just come home after staying at Be Our Guest Cottage, Nantrisack Holiday Cottages. What an amazing place to stay. The cottage is perfect, the amenities were excellent & Maureen is absolutely lovely. The most perfect pet friendly place to stay, Vinnie loved it!! We would highly recommend a visit to Be Our Guest Cottage without a doubt. Everything has been perfectly thought out, with all the necessities you could think of. The added bonus was the amazing weather we had. Maureen, thank you so much for a wonderful week & for the lovely cream tea!! Heather, Mick & Vinnie x

This was our second visit to the cottages at Nantrisack. Previously my wife and I stayed at the Morrane Cottage with our little dog. This time we returned with our 10 month old son. Firstly, despite the option to take a small pet, the place smelled so fresh. Not a spot of dust, no hairs, nothing to suggest the cottage had been used, let alone pets may have been present at any point in the past. Maureen is the warmest host we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She introduces herself on the first day and explains how everything works, including the hot tub. She ensures you have her contact details and is there at a moment's notice if there is anything you need. On our first visit, my wife turned 30. Maureen asked if it would be OK to leave a small cake as a surprise for my wife when we went out to which I agreed. On our return to the cottage, there was cake, a card and balloons. On this occasion, Maureen left treats for our son to eat as well as a small cuddly elephant which he loved. We were spoilt too with cream tea and a bottle of wine. The cottage itself is perfect for 2 adults. The decor of each cottage is unique on the site. Be Our Guest has a luxury feel with a hint of quirky charm. Maureen clearly enjoys her interior design and does it really well. The en suite has a 2 person shower (which is actually large enough for 2 people with room to spare!). It was spotlessly clean. There are spares of nearly everything you could think of in case you forget to bring something. The bedroom has a super king size bed and a mattress we are going to greatly miss! No bad backs and we fell asleep as soon as getting into the sheets. There is a beautiful bath within the bedroom also. The living space is a good size kitchen/diner/lounge area. 2 sofas in the lounge with a fantastic looking fireplace we unfortunately did not need to use the week we came as the weather was perfect. This would be really romantic on a cooler night. The kitchen is kitted out with all pans/utensils etc. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a heated drying rack should the weather not be good enough to dry anything washed. The garden space has 2 areas, one side with the hot tub and the other with sun loungers (high quality and not cheap) and rattan furniture to match. Obviously, the hot tub was epic as the nights drew in. The location of the cottage is just outside truro and everything seemed accessible to us. We went to the Towans beaches in Hayle, St Ives, Newquay and Penzance. The cottage itself is on a site with a small number of cottages which is electric gated and very secure. The reason we returned (and have booked to return again later this year) is Maureen. The cottage itself is spectacular but the attention to detail and care Maureen shows is very much the cherry on the cake!

My husband and I were looking for somewhere dog friendly to stay after our honeymoon in Sri Lanka became a honeymoon in Cornwall thanks to covid! We booked Be Our Guest at quite late notice but Maureen was incredibly accommodating and easy to get hold of and talk to. The property has some quirky decor and the bed, bathroom, kitchen are all top quality. The whole place was incredibly clean and almost felt like we were the first people to stay there. Our dog is quite an escape artist but the enclosed garden was perfect for him. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the cold winter nights too. The property is located in a really great location to get to a lot of Cornish sights within 20 - 50 minutes depending on how far west you want to go.

We have just returned from a week away in Be Our Guest cottage and all I can say is “WOW” it certainly had the wow factor. Everything about the cottage was amazing. The garden was so private and the hot tub was lovely after a day by the coast. Maureen who owns the cottages met us on arrival and she really made us feel welcome. The trip away was for my belated 40th birthday and Maureen left us a bottle of fizz, a card and a banner along with a little gift which was so lovely. You can really feel the love that Maureen and John put in to the cottage, the attention to detail was second to none. I would 100% recommend staying here. We had such a special week away and I can say it’s the nicest cottage I have ever stayed in in the UK so get booked because you won’t find anything better!

Wow! A 5 star property, and a 5 star review. This is a brand new property with no expense spared in its fixtures and fittings. Not only that, but all the extras make it a special home from home. Scrupulously clean and pet friendly, not something you can say too often. Dogs are well catered for with your own private grassy exercise paddock, and treats. The owners Maureen and John are perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. They'll leave you in peace but, be on hand for any advice on the local area etc.

Be Our Guest is one of 6 cottages that are just outside Truro, it was easy to find and our first impressions were very positive. The entrance is via electric gates, and a well maintained site, flowers and plants are well looked after, which was great as it said a lot about how well looked after and cared for the properties are, and we were not wrong! We were welcomed by the owner, Maureen a very friendly and welcoming lady, she showed us around and how the hot tub worked, explained that she would have to call everyday to check the hot tub, however, we only saw her a couple of times, she knows when to call and not disrupt your peace. The cottage was stunning and so much more than we thought it would be considering it was pet friendly, we were left lots of goodies, including a cream tea, milk and lots of other treats and our dog had his own selection of toys, towels, bowls and treats too, in fact Monty loved seeing her and if he heard her voice he went looking to the gate, knowing you either had a cuddle or a treat for him. The kitchen was well equipped and every room followed suit, quality all the way through. The bedroom and bathroom was full of things you might need if you had forgotten to pack anything, she really has put a lot of love and thought into these properties. The bedroom was stunning, with a stand a lone bath tub, bath robes, slippers, chocolates and a speaker so you can listen to music while in the garden or hot tub. The bed was so comfortable and obviously good quality, we had fantastic nights sleep here. The garden was private, with access to a field via a gate in the garden to exercise our boy in, the only sounds we heard were the birds! So relaxing and peaceful and we had an amazing holiday, we really didn't want to leave. Considering there are other cottages in the vicinity you would not have known this, the only sound we heard was the birds singing, I am not sure how many times we said it, but the words relaxing and peaceful were mentioned so many times. The location is fantastic if you like the peace and quiet, and countryside, although you are only minutes away from Truro and some other villages. We visited Lelant Beach many times with our dog, and it is stunning, you would have thought we were in the Caribbean and not in Cornwall, and there is a hosepipe in the garden to wash all the sand off too. I also had a look in Little Bear Cottage and wow, absolutely stunning, she really has an eye for knowing how to provide a luxury cottage that is not only private but very well thought out. I confess I loved so much of it I took some photos! Would we return? Absolutely, such a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location.
