Cefn Isaf holiday cottage is a peaceful haven with wonderful open views of the countryside but only a hop from the beach. It's the perfect retreat to return to after a busy day out. It was converted with great care by the owner and her architect husband a few years ago and has given many happy holidays. "A truly relaxing house carefully designed for you to relax and have a great holiday. Wonderful sandy beaches just down the lane, great places to eat close by and the most amazing night skies!" The flora and fauna in this area are breathtaking, and in the evenings you may well hear the owl. Black Rock, is a fabulous sandy beach, and a mile away down the quiet lane. Close to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways you can hop on a train to Bounce Below! For the more sedate a short drive to the Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by the owner's great-uncle, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. Romantic and relaxing, wonderful solid oak floors and beams, a blend of antique and contemporary furniture, Cefn Isaf is a delightful holiday retreat which will be enjoyed and appreciated by families and friends any time of the year.

Cefn Isaf is a stunning holiday house in a tranquil location on the Llyn Peninsula. From here you will have gorgeous views of the countryside with the added bonus of being only a short stroll from the beach. The interior of this holiday house is just fabulous and so very calming! You will spend the entire time discovering new and delightful items that the owner’s have carefully sourced. A truly stunning family holiday house is what you’ll find in Cefn Isaf. The sitting room is just divine! It has a Venetian glass light suspended above wonderfully comfortable sofas and chairs set around the double-sided fireplace. This is a really warm and cosy space in the winter months. French doors from this space open out onto the terrace. On the other side of the fireplace is the dining area which has a table and seating for up to eight people. This is the ideal space for family meals whilst discussing the fun-filled day you just had! From the dining area, head into the lovely kitchen which boasts countryside views. Tiles behind the cooker were painted by Bronwyn Williams Ellis and this adds to the extra little touches throughout Cefn Isaf. The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. In the utility room you will find the washing machine, tumble dryer and a second sink. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms: one bedroom with a king sized bed, and the other is a twin room with French windows that open out onto a small terrace. There’s a ground floor shower room with loo and wash hand basin, under-floor heating and heated towel rail. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a king size bed, more stunning views and dressing room. It also has an ensuite with loo, bath and wash hand basin.There is also a twin room on this floor. Also on the first floor is a small bathroom with bath, loo and wash hand basin. Outside is a very pretty space with borders of flowers bursting with colour during certain months of the year. There are sun loungers and directors chairs and a BBQ. This is a real suntrap! On the terraced area is a wooden table and chairs. Off road parking for 2 cars outside the Cefn Isaf, extra parking available for 1 car on grass verge area above property Cefn Isaf is a holiday house in a truly wonderful location on the Llyn Peninsula. The sandy beach of Black Rock is a mile away, accessed via a quiet country lane. Jump in the car and then onto a steam train at the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways. To see some more interesting architecture head to Portmeirion which was designed by the owner's great-uncle, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. There is so much to do in this part of North Wales. Attractions, walks, cycle routes and activities. But you might struggle to tear yourself away from the relaxing haven that is Cefn Isaf. With its bright rooms, colourful furnishings and beamed ceilings, it really is a delight to spend family time here. A year-round family family friendly holiday house!

The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. An ideal location for the attractions of Snowdonia and the The Lleyn Peninsula.
