Harlech 5 - Matholwch is a second floor holiday apartment amongst five others set within the grounds of Harlech castle in Snowdonia. Like the others, this is a modern and luxuriously decorated holiday apartment ideal for a couples getaway. Shops, restaurants and cafes are all within a one minute walk! The open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area is a lovely, bright space. A sofa and chair is set around a TV & iPod docking station. Set in the window is a dining table seating two people. The modern kitchen includes a microwave, Bosch oven, hob & grill, fridge with freezer compartment. The relaxing bedroom has a zip n link bed which is made up as a large double as standard but can be two singles by prior request. There is a lovely shower room with shower, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and loo. Harlech 5 - Matholwch has a castle, visitors centre, and cafe surrounding it, but they close in the evenings. There are places to eat and drink nearby, as well as beaches and golf courses.Whether you’re after a relaxing romantic weekend away or a fun-filled week, this luxurious holiday apartment in Snowdonia could be perfect for you. Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.

Modern cosy apartment with far reaching views and the castle really is that close. Free parking at the door was such a treat and free access to the castle was unexpected and really appreciated. We had a fabulous stay in beautiful Harlech finding plenty to do and As.is bistro next door was a great gem with breakfast in the castle cafe top notch at a good price. Thank you for our goodie bag with all local treats that was really thoughtful and well received.

I don’t go away TIL November but I am not impressed with Sykes already - not used them before and probably won’t again. The apartment had better be spectacular with no faults at all to improve my view of Sykes
