This holiday cottage is a lovely place with beautiful views, however would really benefit from some tlc and a thorough clean. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few significant issues. The septic tank overflowed during our stay. The garden, while spacious, was poorly maintained, including lots of rubbish round the back, and in need of cutting back beside the river. Additionally, during our stay we had to have the aga serviced twice as the oiler burner kept going out, and one of the toilets was also broken, which was inconvenient as there was 8 people there. With some improvements, this could be a perfect place to stay at, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations given the cost to stay there.
One enters the cottage and is transported back in time , r needs , its spaciousness is wecome on rainy day's . The garden has a gorgeous stream , wildlife including sheep enhance its quality, the ace in the pack is the scenery how anyone can not be moved by the views is beyond me . The TV programme selection is not great but one gets over it . The owner is fantastic and sorts out problems promptly, we had water cutting out , an engineer was out and sorted it . I would recommend this place for all holiday makers , makes a great base to explore a truly stunning country.
