This pretty holiday cottage sits on the side of a hill, with lovely views over the Menai Strait. The multi-level garden is the perfect vantage point for looking out to sea, and the hot tub on the top level makes a great place for a glass of wine in the sunshine! The pretty kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment, and a dining area with table and four chairs and an electric log burner effect stove. The sitting room is furnished with comfy leather sofas, and has French doors that open onto a lovely space with table and chairs in the garden. There is a small downstairs bedroom with small double bed (can be tight for 2), and a small en-suite shower, WC and basin. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, the front bedroom, which benefits from fantastic sea views, is really special, it has white-washed floorboards, a white four-poster bed and matching furniture, and a wrought iron terrace to sit out on and the other double bedroom is at the back of the house and continues the white, almost fairy-tale theme. There is a large family bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate bath. The multi-level garden enjoys wonderful views over the Menai Strait. It has a decking area with garden furniture and a hot tub with wonderful views. "A dreamy romantic little hideaway with a hot tub bubbling away ready for you to hop in and relax and soak up the views." Rhianfa Cottage is in a great spot if you wish to be near plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants, Menai Bridge is just five minutes along the coast, and Beaumaris is the same in the opposite direction. Be sure to visit the Red Boat Ice cream shop in Beaumaris and the superb Central Bakery. Menai Bridge has lots of shops and cafes - I recommend tea and a cake at Pot Jam after a walk under the famous Thomas Telford Bridge! If you don't fancy jumping in the car, then The Gazelle is a short walk from the house, and is a really great spot to sit and watch the boats bob up and down while enjoying a drink or a bite to eat. For golfers, there are two great courses within 10 minutes' drive.

It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 9th century, hence the name of the 14th century St. Tysilio's Church. **Rating: 0/5** SERIOUS ISSUES NOT RESOLVED BY EITHER THE PROPERTY OWNER OR SYKES. AVOID! The cottage is simply not clean and hasn’t been maintained properly since it was initially restored. There is mould in the showers and kitchen cupboards, a gap in the main door, and the upstairs shower doesn’t drain correctly, causing water to pool in the tray. Various reviews have highlighted these issues in the past, so it is disappointing that the owner hasn’t addressed them. The garden, although lovely and the hot tub is a nice feature, is overgrown, making it challenging to use the facilities. The outdoor table and chairs are unusable. There was a significant amount of dust on all ornaments, and the bedroom curtains were inconsistent—some blackouts, some not (in the same room) making it difficult to sleep as it got light by 5 am. The advert suggests the property has an open fire, which is untrue; it is an electric fire. While the location and views are beautiful, we did not get value for money. I would seriously ask Sykes whether they should continue advertising this property until all issues are resolved. Unfortunately the Sykes customer service team have now been sat on my complaints for 2 months, and Melissa is now refusing to respond to me. I will be perusing a charge back via my credit card company.
