Accommodation Details
Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Shower room with shower, handwash basin and WC. kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge and washing machine. Sitting room with sofas and open fireplace. Dining room with french windows. Small shared yard with pot plants.
Windygates holiday cottage is right on the main beach at Rhosneigr, commanding the most fabulous sea view across the bay to Rhoscolyn, Cymyran and round to the boat pool. On the west coast of Anglesey, this is a blissful location for guests of any age - whether you want to build a sand castle, get out on the water, or just wander around the shared garden and soak up the view. "Dear Windygates, everyone just loves it. Right on the beach, the perfect seaside location, the house is comfy, welcoming, simple and lovely. Just relax and pop out for a morning dip!" Simply furnished, all on one level, Windygates offers simple, cheerful beach accommodation. It is a delightful holiday cottage at any time of year - in winter, the open fire is lovely to come home to after a blustery walk on the beach; curl up with a cuppa and some toasted crumpets!
The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Close by is the Anglesey Race Circuit, great for lovers or car and motorbike racing, while on the island you will find Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. Boat trips around Puffin Island offer the chance to see nesting puffins and guillemots, or cross to the mainland and enjoy Victorian Llandudno’s shopping, restaurants and dry ski slope, Snowdonia mountains and the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
