We just spent a week at the crest, and to be honest we didn't want to leave, it was cozy clean and lovely and warm, in a quiet location, it had everything we could have asked for and more, Basically home from home, a lovely selection of welcome goodies, Plus I would like to give a big thankyou to the lovely Marisa for our lovely stay at the crest, and we will all be back possibly sooner than you think. from us in somerset...

It is very tastefully decorated and accessorised. Everything you need is provided. Tea, sugar, coffee, ground coffee, kitchen roll, loo roll, shampoo, hand soap, sanitiser etc. Little touches such as welcoming fresh flowers, wine, biscuits and chocolates. This is an amazing place to stay. Marisa is next door if you need her, but you are completely private. Wonderful white towels, superb linen and extremely comfortable beds. Walk in shower upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Roomy lounge with very comfortable furniture. Would definitely recommend this property. 10 out of 10.

This is a stunning home away from home! The owners made contact before our arrival to let us know they were available if we had any questions which was reassuring. They were only next door too so were on hand if we needed anything throughout our stay. The accommodation was modern and spotless. It is well equipped with everything you could need (and more). The owners had included some lovely holiday touches like shampoo and conditioners in the shower as well biscuits and flowers on arrival. It is not too far from the town of Helston (15 minute walk) which has an array of shops, cafes and pubs. We found this area perfect for exploring Cornwall, central to everywhere we wanted to go.

We have just arrived back from our stay having read the reviews on Tripadvisor and Sykes cottages we had great expectations of the accommodation and I must say it didn’t disappoint the accommodation was absolutely stunning well layed out and presented we were told our check in time was delayed due to extra cleaning as a result of COVID-19 we didn’t mind as the owners were going above and beyond for our safety When we got to the accommodation it was spotless and a home away from home with all the things you need it was very well equipped to a very high standard The owner’s made us feel very welcome and were a lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble for them we were kept well informed both prior to and during our stay this is just a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend to anyone

Beautifully clean and ready to enjoy. What you see in the photos is just how it is. So often photos are still used to promote how it was 10years ago and you end up being disappointed. Note we were unable to stay in this property but this is what our friends reported to us who stayed in it and also my son who lives in Helston has been inside to check it out this week.

I don't often write reviews, but I felt the need to after staying at this amazing property! We stayed for 4 nights during Storm Dennis and can't praise this property and the owners enough. The property is new, clean, comfortable, incredibly well-equipped and in a great location, we really couldn't ask for any more. The owners Alan and Marisa were around to welcome us and give us a full guided tour and give us all the information we needed. They were there if we needed them, but were not intrusive in any way. They also left various little food treats around the house for us, which was a lovely touch. The property has everything you could wish for. I always pack various bits and pieces when self catering as most properties only supply the basics, but I didn't need to use any of it. There are two lovely bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms (1x bath with shower over and 1x huge shower) with shampoo and conditioner and plenty of towels & toilet rolls. There's a very modern kitchen with every single thing you could need including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, loads of utensils, pots & pans, cutlery and mugs/glasses etc, right down to kitchen foil, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cloths, soap, salt, pepper and sugar. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer with washing liquid supplied and a lovely under stairs cupboard. with a hoover, broom, airer, washing basket etc and fabulous central heating we could adjust enabling us to get all our wet and dirty clothes washed and dried again. Upstairs, there's also a beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to socialise together, which we had plenty of time to enjoy because of the bad weather! There is also a lovely outdoor seating area which would be beautiful in the summer months. The location is perfect and very central if you wish to visit multiple destinations in Cornwall during your visit like we did. The town is close by and there is a lovely fish and chip shop just along the road and a Tesco only a couple of minutes drive away. Summing up, this property is simply amazing, and you couldn't possibly be disappointed if you chose to stay here. Thank you Alan and Marisa :-)

The Crest is comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard making it a home away from home including a great kitchen and 2 good sized bathrooms. The owners were friendly, and made us feel very welcome without being intrusive. It’s also in a great location to explore the numerous beaches and attractions.
