The open-plan living area houses a corner sofa with plenty of room to stretch out and recover from your days walk, whilst the compact yet well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to help prepare your meals. The bedroom has a double bed and a bath enclosure with a shower over, as well as basin and large wardrobe with vanity unit. Perhaps the highlight of the property is the two acres of private gardens with lawns dropping to the lake shore and private jetty, offering sublime views of Ullswater and towering fells. Follow the footpath around the lake shore and uncover an abundance of natural beauty along the way before returning for a glass of wine amidst this lovely setting. The lake offers a number of outdoor activities, from sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing or perhaps you would like to sit back and take a lake cruise on one of the steamers. Within a short walk there are several eating houses and pubs which are perfect if you don’t fancy cooking one night. The towns of Penrith and Keswick are easily reached and offer a number of amenities from independent shops to fascinating exhibitions and art galleries.
