Just want to say a big thank you to Michelle who was an excellent hostess and went out of her way to help. Even returning some shoes I left accidentally at her own expense. Quirky house with lots of character and lovely area with plenty to do.

We have just got back from the most amazing stay The cottage. We booked for our mini moon to go straight after our wedding day and I can honestly say we have never felt so relaxed. We were greeted by Michelle who congratulated us and gave us the keys. When we walked inside it felt so homey. Michelle and tony had even put up just married banners for us. The house has 4 bedrooms so would be perfect for family too. We went just the 2 of us. We had an amazing time recharging our batteries. It honestly felt like a home from home and was very cosey, especially with the fire burning. We even took our fire stick and switch to plug into the tv. Then to add the finishing touches to our mini-moon we even displayed some of our wedding flowers on the fire place. It was a perfect spot to relax after our wedding, we can not thank the owners Tony and Michelle enough.

Met by Michelle who gave us a very warm welcome she then left us to explore the property and we made ourselves at home 6 adults 2 children and 2 dogs staying for 2 weeks we had a wonderful time in the property and would highly recommend. Cark is a lovely area to explore and the cottage a great base for day trips out. The games room was good fun for the grandchildren and the bigger kids among us we had everything we needed and slept like logs, very comfortable beds. Lots of information leaflets to help plan trips out too, plus a beautiful hamper with the essentials which was lovely so no need to visit the local shop straight away.

Beautiful holiday home situated across the road from Cark Station. To be honest although you are that close it is very rare that you can hear any trains. The location is amazing and is ideally situated for some fabulous walks and local public houses. Great family-friendly home with everything you could wish for. Tony and Michelle are the perfect hosts. Our second stay at this beautiful home and we will definately be visiting again.
