Wonderful apartment - very spacious and clean and very well equipped. I couldn't find the black bin bags and rang the owner, who explained that there are larger bins in the utility room, which was located off the corridoor leading up to the second bedroom and bathroom. Made absolute sense to put the bins there rather than in the main living area. The property is very well situated, as it is not far from the Pavilion and the beach and not far from the Whale Bone arch and the main thoroughfare. Also not far to the town! Parking is really good as parking permits are provided and for a short stay, it was good to leave the car and walk everywhere. Would recommend the ghost tour which leaves the whale bone arch at 7.30 pm each evening (check their website) as it is highly recommended for an insight into the history of Whitby. Would definitely recommend this property as an excellent base for a trip to Whitby. I came last year with my hubby and stayed at no 3 but No 1 was perfect as I stayed with a friend and we could each have our own room.
