Reviews

Back in May this was our 2nd visit to hooks house and certainly won't be the last. It's a 16th century fisherman's cottage and it's on four floors. Have seen reviews on sykes website both good and bad but to me to stay here and really appreciate it need to understand its a old building but you sense the history but some people forget this and look for every fact but bet if the same people stayed in a newly built place they would complain it lacks character something this place has plenty. When you walk in you are straight into the living room there's stairs leading down to the kitchen which includes a good sized table and chairs From the living room the 1st flight of stairs takes you to the bathroom with shower and the 1st bedroom next door handy if you bring a elderly couple or person then the next flight takes you to the other bedroom and again double bed this one has a tv that lifts up and you can watch it at the end of the bed Both have views of the harbour. The great thing about staying here is its only seconds from the south bay seafront but for my wife too near to the harbour bar ice-cream parlour
