Tenby is a harbour town and resort in south west Wales, with 2.5 miles of sandy beaches and access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Tenby has a rich history which is documented in the 13th century medieval town walls, with the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, St. Mary's Church, and Tudor Merchant's House. Tenby's Welsh name, Dinbych-y-Pysgod, meaning 'Little Fortress of the Fish' is so named for its lovely harbour beside Castle Hill, where you can set off on a mackerel fishing trip.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Boathouse and what a fabulous place it is.It was immaculately clean and everything you could possibly need was there. We did read one review in the visitors book that said you could hear everything anyone said in the adjoining bedroom. We were a party of four adults and did not find that to be the case. When we next return to Tenby we will definitely be staying there. A super place Tania, we really enjoyed our stay. Bill, Sue and family.
