Reviews

Lovely welcome from the owner and her beautiful dog. Ideally situated for Hadrian's wall, Vindolanda and Magna Fort. Plenty of walking to be had. Accommodation was cosy and we felt welcomed by the fresh bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and sugar left for us. Intended to go to the nearby pub to eat, but we were so busy we didn't get there!

We've just spent a week at Vallum Kiosk and its been a wonderful stay thanks to Sam the owner. Its very clean and comfortable and has everything you need and more. The kitchen is well equipped and tea, coffee and sugar was provided. There is a nespresso machine complete with pods. The shower was good and hot and its a perfect place to stay for 2 people. When we arrived Sam made us welcome with a delicious loaf of homemade bread and milk and butter in the fridge. The pub is a 2 min walk away which serves really good pub grub and is very reasonably priced. The kiosk was near everywhere that we wanted to visit and if we visit Northumberland in the future we would definitely stay here again.

Arrived for 4 night stay, to be welcomed by the friendliest dog - Branson and Sam the owner also. The lodge had everything that we needed, including a very comfortable bed. We found the walking from the Kiosk was perfect for taking our dog out, without the need to use the car. We loved the fact that you could walk to Sycamore Gap from the accommodation, with amazing views. We ate at the Twice Brewed pub, a short stroll away. We also ate a couple of times at The Sill, with amazing scones!! Stupidly, we left a bag of birthday gifts behind when we left. Sam had the bag of goodies returned to us in days in perfect condition. Cannot recommend this accommodation and owner highly enough. Fantastic stay
