The Loft is a welcoming first-floor apartment, part of a stone barn conversion, in the countryside of Cowdale near Buxton. There is a double room plus a shower room, sleeping two guests. There is an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric woodburning-effect stove. Outside there is off-road parking, and shared use of an outdoor sitting area. The Loft is ideal for a romantic break or walking holiday. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Buxton 3 miles. This light and airy first-floor self-catering apartment rests in the rural hamlet of Cowdale, near the bustling town of Buxton. This heart-warming retreat is in a superb location on the edge of the Peak District National Park, just a few miles from Buxton. Set over the first-floor of a Grade II listed stone barn conversion, this property still maintains its characterful features to include exposed beams offering cosy accommodation for a couple. Look forward to relaxing in the open-plan living space with a large sofa to curl up with your partner and enjoy a romantic movie with the help of the provided DVD player. The kitchen has been fitted with pristine white units and sleek worktops giving you all the necessary appliances and benefitting from a breakfast bar for eating your cereal of a morning. After a long day sightseeing get some much needed rest in the double bedroom which has views of the surrounding countryside to wake up to. The Loft is a delightful base for a relaxing romantic holiday in the Peak District. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1021021, 1021022, 1021023 and 1021024, together sleeping 30 people.

Originally a Roman spa town, due to the constant 28°C of Buxton's eight thermal springs the town reached its peak in the 18th and 19th Centuries under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire. The Palladian grandeur of today's town was designed and built by this family, including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House. Visitors continue to enjoy these buildings and gardens, as well as a full programme of events at the Opera House, in addition to the annual Festival of Music and Arts. Close by, walkers and cyclists can enjoy numerous trails and paths, which lead into the stunning scenery around the town.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the loft on cowdale Farm and its faultless and we will be back again and again the owners are lovely abd friendly and there is nothing they haven't thought about.its emaculate sorene just a lovely place to relax and take in the country side 10 out of 10 .

Stayed her for the 2nd time and still can't fault it.. perfect location and beautiful surroundings.. Will definetly be back. Absolutely spotless even though dog friendly it's immaculate. Owners have done an amazing job it really is our fave place to go.
