Criccieth is a seaside town situated within North Wales, just 5 miles away from Porthmadog. Within the town you will find a 13th century castle with views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Here, you will also find two beaches with watersport opportunities and the surrounding countryside offers opportunities for walkers and bikers. Within the surrounding area you will find Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle and Caernarfon Castle.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Reviews
Glanrafon was comfortable and well located for Criccieth and the surrounds. The kitchen area was OK however the fridge freezer was very small for a week's provisions for 3. If planning to eat out a lot then this is probably OK. The garden was handy for the dogs however it was I was need of a tidy up to make it more comfortable to sit outside. Overall we had a lovely week made even better by the sunny weather. Walks, chippy and ice cream, all excellent.
