Ruthin, a settlement on a hill, may be reached from Llangollen by travelling north through the magnificent Horseshoe Pass. In and around St. Peter's Square, the town's half-timbered buildings create a lovely scene. In addition to the many unique stores and structures, tourists should check out the Ruthin Gaol and the Ruthin Craft Centre, which features the work of regionally and globally acclaimed artists and crafters. Ruthin is conveniently located near a number of stunning natural areas, including Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park, and Clocaenog Forest. The seashore, Snowdonia National Park, and old Chester are further away but still within driving distance.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
We would 100% recommend to everyone and anyone looking to go here. The property was spotless with comfy beds and the attention to detail was top notch, with a lovely welcome hamper included. We went as 4 adults, with 3 children between us (all under 2) and it was the most baby proofed property we have stayed at. The outside kitchen/bar with hot tub was a luxury which we used every day. The owners offered to check the hot tub daily if needed or left you to it, if you were happy to do so. However they were easily contactable if needed. The chickens were also a great little perk! Our daughter loved to go pick some eggs each morning - couldn’t get much fresher! All together, it added up to an amazing holiday!
My sister booked this beautiful house for the weekend. 3 sisters & 3 nieces from Glasgow & Surrey met here and we were all totally blown away. The house is brand new and immaculate. A gorgeous welcome pack of food essentials was waiting for us. The bedrooms were spacious and the bed were so comfy. We were extremely lucky with the weather. Stunning blue skys most of the weekend. The hot tub was large and spotless. We made the most of that. Ruthin itself is only just down the road and the castle is worth a visit too. Would highly recommend staying here and would hope to do so again in the future.
