Couples can enjoy a cosy getaway, or a romantic break for two, in this wonderful location. The open-plan living area is perfect for socialising, and an outside terrace overlooks the lake for a refreshing backdrop. Stairs lead you up to a king-size bedroom boasting neutral décor, and further views of the lake, so you can wake up to the tranquillity of it all each day that goes by. A shower room completes the accommodation. By booking this property, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Freshwater Biological Association for the duration of your stay. Your membership entitles you to discounts on training courses and publications and gives access to the FBA’s extensive Freshwater Library. The village of Far Sawrey has a pub/restaurant, whilst Bowness, with all its shops, restaurants and leisure facilities, is just a short distance across the lake by ferry. There are plenty of walking opportunities with local footpaths, and watersports are close at hand on Windermere, along with Lake Cruises and the majestic Wray Castle to admire. Fishing can be enjoyed on nearby Esthwaite Water.
