Reviews

The cottage was clean and tidy with plenty of space. It was far enough away to feel like an escape but close enough to make it simple to get provisions etc. The outlook was lovely - hills and dales all round. The owners are lovely, friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive - just right.

A quiet and peaceful cottage- based on a farm but not particularly affected by it. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with easy access to all of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Walks from the cottage as well. Birds of prey are common sights along with other wildlife all around. Stargazing at night is lovely. Facilities are good but the toilet/shower room might be a little small for 6 people. Bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage - kitchen dining area is of ample size. Would benefit from a washing machine for longer stays. Close to both small and large towns for shopping/provisions etc. Owners are perfect - friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

Nice quite country location, comfortable barn, lovely owners. The negative things for us were no Internet, limited TV stations, no washer or dryer, hence 4 out of five marks.

Lovely cottage/barn conversion. It was roomy and comfortable with lovely views and good access to walks and the farm, which is great for kids. The owners are really nice and welcoming people, they couldn't be any nicer, top marks. Also, its not too far from Kirby town, so supplies are easily at hand. Very nice, really enjoyed it.

The setting of the property was outstanding, beautiful views, secluded setting, close to both the Yorkshire dales, Lake district, always been a favourite holiday destination. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.
