Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size double and twin, along with a bathroom this cottage can sleep up to four guests. There is also a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a kitchen/diner. To the outside is a private garden with seating. Linden Lea is a snug base with easy access to the North Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Loved my three night stay at this delightful cottage in Brough, Cumbria. So cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. A lovely cosy lounge with log burner, comfy sofas and French doors leading out to covered patio and garden beyond. Perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine! The owners have put a lot of thought into furnishing and equipping the cottage. It's got everything you need! Plus it was spotlessly clean! Perfect location, close to the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. Found a lovely quirky cafe bar called the Outfitters 2 min walk from the cottage and which caters for all. Booked for Sunday lunch to enjoy before we set off back to York!
Linden Lea cottage in Brough, Cumbria is the most quaint place you could possibly stay! It is just lovely! The lounge in comfortable and looks onto the garden through lovely patio doors. Straight outside is a sweet garden with hanging lanterns. The dining kitchen has everything you could possibly need! The bedrooms are so lovely and the bed is very comfortable! I have arthritis in my spine and I usually have to put a quilt under me to enable me to sleep but in this place I didn't have to! I had the best nights sleep in a long time! There is a shop just across the way that sells everything you could need for your stay. I honestly can't recommend this place highly enough!
