This Grade II listed, three-storey cottage is situated in the heart of the fascinating market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. Pick up some delicious Yorkshire produce from one of the local shops and settle down to a holiday feast. After a day of exploring the North York Moors, look forward to unwinding in the cosy lounge, complete with a beautiful inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove. The stylish, contemporary cottage kitchen/dining room has cream shaker-style units, a white porcelain sink, dishwasher, gas hob, microwave and electric oven. From the kitchen step out into the private courtyard, with side gate to the car park and access to the utility room and secure cycle store. The courtyard has comfortable patio furniture where you can enjoy alfresco dining or your morning coffee in the warmer months, easing yourself into the day by reading the paper. Both bedrooms in this Pickering cottage can be found upstairs; the boutique-style master bedroom offers generous proportions with a king-size bed, cast iron fireplace, original wooden floor boards and a charming window seat where you can watch the village life go by. Next door is the bathroom, where you’ll find a bath with an electric power shower overhead. Head up to the second floor to discover another large bedroom, offering twin beds, which can also be configured as a super-king, if requested. Pickering is well located to enjoy a wide range of attractions, including Eden Camp, Flamingoland, Rosedale & Helmsley. Pickering is the home of the famous North York Moors steam railway that winds through the heather-clad moors to the village of Grosmont, ending in the beautiful sea-side town of Whitby.
