Location Details

Charming Harlech, Wales, is dominated by its impressive 13th-century castle, which enjoys a picture-perfect setting between the town's mountainous backdrop and the nearby coastline. World Heritage status and widespread acclaim have helped Harlech Castle in North Wales earn prominence among Edward I's other fortresses there. The beautiful sandy beach is perfect for family fun and long walks, and the town is frequented by golfers in search of the world-famous Royal St. Davids course. Harlech has a wide range of services, including some high-end eateries, and is conveniently located near Snowdonia National Park and Cardigan Bay's beaches.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

Have just returned from a holiday at this bungalow. Much is made of it being single storey & ground level in the listing by Sykes Cottages but they fail to mention 4 steep, uneven & deep steps (without a handrail) you need to climb in order to enter the property in the first place. I messaged Sykes customer relations department about this & expected a kind of "thanks for letting us know & we'll look into it" reply. Instead I got politely told "tough luck, we didn't say it was accessible & it's your responsibility to find out"!! I messaged again asking what they intended to do about the situation & was told the same thing again by another advisor. Any decent company would check it out & then add a warning to the listing for people to decide whether they could cope with it or not. I feel it's almost unfair to the owners to give a low rating but anyone with restricted movement needs to know about this place & Sykes are obviously choosing to not take this seriously. I have booked with many holiday companies before, including Sykes, & have never come across such an unpleasant & irresponsible attitude from a letting company before. Quite frankly their customer service is appalling & I will never book with them again
