The Coach House is a fabulous cottage resting in Box near Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire, in the beauty of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are two bedrooms in the cottage, made up of a king-size and a twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size upon request and can sleep a total of four people. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is a private courtyard with seating and off-road parking for one car. The Coach House is a wonderful abode for a romantic retreat or a family getaway to the wonderful Cotswolds. Please note: bookings must fall between a Friday and Friday

Sitting at the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property offers beautiful scenery and a plethora of walking routes on its doorstep, with lots to explore at any time of year. The sitting room boasts a homely aura, with its neutral hues offering a simple yet stylish elegance to the room. Here you can enjoy unwinding in front of the woodburning stove after a day of fun-filled adventure. Make your way into the contemporary-styled kitchen/diner, a lovely spot where you can sit together to enjoy a home-made meal, prepared with the assistance of the good range of appliances in the bright and airy room. Conveniently on the ground floor you can also find the bathroom, where you can relax with a hot bath or shower after a day of rambling ahead of your night's slumber. On the first floor beneath rustic beams, sit the two bedrooms, offering guests a master king-size and a twin bedroom which benefits from doubling up as a king-size offering flexible arrangements for a variety of needs. Outside, there is a private courtyard for guests to enjoy alfresco dining or a simple morning coffee. The property is surrounded by countryside and beautiful scenery, owned by the national trust, on your doorstep to explore with your canine companion. Enjoy a game of tennis in the shared court of the owner's, (bookable on arrival) or choose to explore the ancient market town of Minchinhampton, (10 minutes by foot) where you will find a pub, two award-winning coffee shops, a few small shops and a takeaway. The cottage Is directly surrounded by hundreds of acres of National Trust owned commonland. Stroll across Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons to experience stunning scenery, as well as offering one of the three local 18-hole golf courses for an afternoon of family fun. Walk alongside cows and horses which roam freely from May to November and take refreshment in one of the historic inns (including The Old Lodge, 10 minutes walk from the cottage across the common, reputed to have been Henry VIII’s hunting lodge), and Winstone’s Ice Cream Factory, wonderfully ideal for the summer months. The area is a haven for cyclists with hundreds of miles of virtually traffic-free lanes through the stunning rolling hills of Gloucestershire and guests who bring their own bikes can store them securely in the lockable courtyard. The area is also popular for horse-riders with events such as Badminton Horse Trails and Gatcombe (only 2 miles away), a day's Horse-riding can be enjoyed at Barton End stables in nearby Nailsworth. Stroud can be found within easy reach, hosting a farmers’ market on Saturdays, as well as being known for its vibrant music, poetry and artistic scene or head to Cheltenham for its renowned science, literature and music festivals or for a day at the races! The Coach House is the perfect place from which to explore the excitement of Gloucestershire and beyond.
