The Old Workshop is a lovely cottage nestled in Middleton, near Belford, in Northumberland. Hosting three bedrooms: one king-size with TV and en-suite shower room, one double and twin, together sleeping six guests with a family bathroom. There is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside has an enclosed lawned garden and gravelled area with furniture, as well as off-road parking for 2-3 cars. Near to this is also a woodland play area for children including swings and slides. The Old Workshop is a wonderful choice for a family break to Northumberland. Gas central heating. Range electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed Linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Near to this is also a private woodland play area for children including swings and slides. Enclosed lawned garden and graveled area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles and pub 1.3 miles. Note: A stream runs through the property grounds and there are a number of unfenced ponds and a private lake for fishing and swimming. The woodland is also suitable for leisurely walks. Also available is a farm experience for children to meet our goats, horses, ducks and cats, and chickens. Children are to be supervised at all times. Note: Check-in time is 4PM

Belford is a village and civil parish resting in Northumberland, England. Hosting a wide-range of tourist attractions such as pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets for all of your amenities. Resting close to the beautiful Northumberland Coast AONB for a plethora of country and seaside walks, hiking and cycling opportunities. Further afield is the charming seaside town of Berwick-upon-Tweed for a larger choice of amenities and activities to get involved with.

The photos don’t do this little gem justice! In fact, it’s anything but little. It is pristine and rather sumptuous. It’s elegantly decorated and has every utensil you would need whilst cooking. I didn’t bring the dog but so wish I had. The walks and countryside which are on your doorstep make it an ideal location for exploring. Bamburgh Castle and Village is eight minutes drive away along with the breathtaking beach. Six of us stayed and it was a large enough cottage for us to have our own space if we wanted to. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Book this place as you won’t get anything nicer! I’m already looking for dates to come back and my weekend isn’t over yet!
