Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Thoughtful hosts and an ingenious use of space. Excellent shower and comfy bed. Parking video much appreciated!
The flat was very clean and almost everything you could need has been supplied. The location is great and the parking space a real bonus. I feel the flat would benefit from a few more power points. A double socket by the dining table so you could use a laptop or just for charging a phone. Another one by the kettle, cooker area as there are 4 appliances and only 1 double socket. There are not many channels on the tv so maybe an upgrade is required or just a retune. I only have basic freeview at home but get lots more channels. Some more outside lighting would help as it was quite dark along path into the property. The central heating only comes on at certain times of the day. There are no heating controls in the flat, its controlled by the owners. There is an oil filled radiator in the flat that can be used as and when required. These are my opinions and others may be very happy with the setup and all the things i have mentioned, meant in a constructive way, may not be a issue for them. Overall i had a good time in Brixham and surrounding area.
