Lahinch is a delightful coastal town at the head of Liscannor Bay with a beautiful long beach of golden sands. Known for being a 'surf centre' for the fantastic Atlantic breakers that form thanks to the shape of the bay, surfers and canoeing enthusiasts all flock here. The town offers an array of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a lively social scene. Ramblers should visit the famous Cliffs of Moher for some excellent walking, or discover the ancient Aran Islands by catching a ferry from Doolin.
