Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Red Ridge is quite simply the best holiday cottage we've ever stayed in. The cottage itself is extremely well appointed, with a number of thoughtful touches that just make life easier, especially with kids. The real clincher is the outdoor area which affords the most wonderful views across the bay. We never got bored of watching the sun set over the hills whilst dolphin watching. Llandanwg itself is well positioned for visiting all that the area has to offer and has a lovely beach which is 5 mins walk from the cottage. One of the best holidays we've ever had!
Simply one of the best places we have ever stayed. The location is incredible with mesmerising views that keep you transfixed In awe. Saw dolphins playing across the bay under the watchful peaks of snowdonia and kids played in a surprisingly warm sea with paddle boards. Red Ridge lived up to its name as it sits elevated over the sea perfect for red skies with sun downers on the deck or even in the Hot Tub. The house is very well appointed where the owners have thought of every detail from bedside wireless chargers complete with extra cables for all your gadgets to thick quality towels and Egyptian cotton sheets. Great sized bedrooms all with sea views. Staying with another family and there was plenty of space for us all. We will certainly be rebooking as soon as we can.
We’ve not long returned from an amazing trip to Red Ridge, it was the break we all needed after a difficult few months. Red Ridge is designed to be a home from home and it didn’t disappoint but it did have the added luxury of a stunning sea view and a hot tub which we definitely don’t get at home! The kitchen is so well equipped which given the restrictions at the time in Wales was fantastic as we could cook as if we were home - even managing a full roast dinner! The rooms are all spacious, bright and airy. Every detail has been thought of down to a set of phone chargers, books, games to play and DVDs to entertain all ages! The area itself is stunning too, we had a wonderful takeaway meal from Club Gwynfa which is a 5 minute walk from the house. The Llandanwg beach a short 10 minute walk away is stunning, great for rockpooling! There’s a lovely cafe just on the beach too. We will be returning to Red Ridge next year!!
Had the pleasure of staying at Red Ridge, a lovely holiday home which ticks all the boxes. The owners are wonderful hosts and we would definitely recommend a break here.
