Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double with TV/DVD, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Well-equipped kitchen with spacious living/dining room leading to outdoor wood decked balcony with garden furniture.

A most delightful chalet-style first floor apartment, only 100 yards from Beadnell's vast sandy beach and with views across the sweeping bay. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the village, Bay View makes an ideal base for a family holiday with easy access to the sandy beach (no roads to cross), whilst everyone, young and old, will enjoy relaxing on the apartment's balcony to eat or enjoy the views. Nearby, are numerous golf courses, excellent watersports facilities and sea fishing. The historic market town of Alnwick is only a short drive away, with its grand Norman castle and its now somewhat infamous Alnwick Garden and 300-acre deer park. A truly ideal base for exploring Northumberland and its many treasures.

Established in Saxon times, Beadnell is a charming harbour village set on a wonderful stretch of the Northumberland Coast, an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, popular with birdwatchers. Beadnell Bay itself has a Blue Flag award and is one of the prettiest beaches in the area. The town of Seahouses is close to the beach and with two welcoming pubs and shops and restaurants close by it is, unsurprisingly popular with locals and holidaymakers alike. The Farne Islands are a short boat trip away, as are both Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles. The former is a huge bird sanctuary, created by St Cuthbert, who along with St Aidan, was one of the first monks to bring Christianity to Britain. That heritage is also upheld at the holy island of Lindisfarne, which can be reached via the causeway at Beal (depending on the tides).

Great place to stay! Altogether, a wonderful apartment. Had a great feeling about the place - roomy, quiet and peaceful - although that could be the time of year. The proximity to the beach is great.

Rated by Mrs Barrett reviewed on 14th April 2015

The flat was bright, spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever had and the beach was just a minute's walk away, over the dunes.

Rated by Mr Brawn reviewed on 13th October 2014

The apartment was very well furnished, especially the sitting room, and we felt at home during our stay. It is a lovely area, very quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby beach. It was only a short drive to amenities at Seahouses and Bamburgh! We would certainly recommend and return to this property.

The owner was extremely helpful on our arrival helping with luggage etc We appreciated the wine &milk left in the fridge. Very comfortable chairs in the sitting room & well appointed. Ideally situated apartment, very quiet area. Helped make our holiday very enjoyable.

Rated by Mr Moss-allison reviewed on 29th June 2014

It was in good condition; new bathroom, new carpets in bedroom, and nicely furnished. It is in a nice position with partial sea views. Good for visiting places. A nice quiet restful holiday.

Rated by Mr Phipps reviewed on 23rd August 2013

First floor apartment with sea views from the balcony. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the small harbour of Beadnell with its famous lime kilns. There is a small grocery store and fish and chip shop a 15 min walk away (limited opening hours), but quite adequate. Seahouses is a short drive with Bambrough a little further. The apartment was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. There is a pub and hotel which serves food in the village centre. Directions for collecting the key could have been clearer, but that's my only complaint. I'd certainly stay there again.

We have taken breaks in Northumberland for many years and in the Beadnell area or village for the last 7. This was the ideally located place that we have stayed at. Honestly 2 to 3 minutes from one of the best beaches in the UK. This property is very, very comfortable and well presented. One very short flight, with a view of the beach from the living room and balcony. All very peaceful. We rarely go anywhere twice but will certainly go back there if available next year. The walk along the beach, via Low Newton to Craster is about a 2 and half journey if fit and well worth it...there are buses back from Craster if needed! Honestly cannot fault it, as for weather...well, it is the UK...so what if it rains, it is stunning countryside!

Lovely flat in a great location. The flat was comfotable and had everything we needed. The beach was very close by. Beadnell is small but had a shop, a pub, restaurant and a fish and chip shop. There are plenty of places to visit nearby especially if you like castles. The only thing that could have made it better was the weather.

The apartment was all you could wish for. Very clean, comfortable and modern. It was only about 50 yards from a lovely beach.
