You’re in the heart of the high fells here, so choose from an all-day hike, or a potter around the lakeshore, either way you’ll be surrounded by breath-taking beauty. Latrigg Fell is a lovely walk from the front door, or head to the summit of Skiddaw – the 5th highest peak in the Lake District.

Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
