Upstairs the property contains a luxurious king size en-suite and further double and twin bedroom along with a spacious family bathroom. Relax in a beautiful country garden with furnished patio and lawn extending to a magnificent outlook over open fields where lambs can be viewed in spring. Crag View welcomes dogs and offers parking directly outside the property on a private driveway. The much-loved Black Labrador pub is in walking distance and three brilliant local inns The Wheatsheaf at Brigsteer, The Punch Bowl at Crossthwaite and the Masons Arms at Strawberry Bank are all a short drive away. Golfers will love the close proximity to both Beckside and Windermere Golf Club. This delightful property provides easy access to many walks including Cunswick Scar, Gummers Howe and White Scar. Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere are within easy reach, each with a bustling array of shops, cafes and family attractions. Underbarrow is a quiet, pretty Lakeland village close to the historic market town of Kendal and within reach of the wonderful Lake Windermere. The village has a pub and is ideally placed for exploring southern Lakeland and the Lake District National Park. Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall, both with fine gardens, are nearby, and Kendal has much to offer in terms of shopping and is quite lively culturally, thanks to the Brewery Arts Centre and the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and Museum, which is widely recognised as one of the best in the region. Also worth a visit is the ruin of Kendal Castle, which was formerly the home of Katherine Parr, and there’s plenty to see and do with Grange-over-Sands, Cartmel, Ulverton, Bowness, Ambleside and even the Yorkshire Dales National Park within driving distance. Underbarrow is a lovely base for exploring the area.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
