A place to unwind and relax, Ravenscroft is a charming Lakeland residence close to the heart of Windermere village. With Bowness and Lake Windermere close at hand, and Ambleside just down the road, this is a wonderfully convenient location for a Lake District holiday. Outside the property is private parking for 2 cars, with additional parking close by. The house is imposing, with spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. Through the garden, and into a large entrance hall, guests will be wowed by the impressive sitting room with polished wooden floor and fire. The dining room provides further space for sharing meals and chatting over coffee or glass of wine. A smart, modern kitchen is one of this property’s highlights, stocked with everything needed to whip up a family meal. A handy utility room and convenient cloakroom, with basin and wc, complete the tour of the ground floor. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, each enjoying an en-suite bathroom or shower room. Two double rooms, both with king size bed, and a pretty twin room. The fourth bedroom is on the upper floor. It too benefits from a king size bed and en-suite shower room. The layout of these bedrooms is perfect for larger families or groups of friends. Bathrooms for everyone guarantees no early morning queues! No Lakeland residence would be complete without a wrap round garden and raised patio. An ideal spot for reading, meditating or catching a cheeky nap.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
