Nearby destinations worth visiting include historic towns such as Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Bishop's Castle and Shrewsbury.

On arriving at the Round House, we were wowed by the views and the property. A beautiful and quirky house nestled on a hill within 10 minutes walk from Church Stretton. The property was well equipped and clean and had plenty of amenities. The welcome tray and bbq basket were a lovely touch. The owner was great with communications as was the site we booked through. We loved sitting at the inside table with the bi-fold doors open to admire the view. The hot tub and bbq were great to get us out in the garden. Nearby Ludlow and Shrewsbury worth a visit, as well as a walk in Carding Mill Valley. In Church Stretton there is an indian and aThai restaurant, and a chinese take away, chip shop and pizza shop if looking for a break from cooking. Would recommend food in the Buck's Head too. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Round House and we were sorry to be leaving.
